Stennis Space Center
Stennis Space Center is NASA's primary site for rocket propulsion testing and home to the Applied Research and Technology Project Office. In May 2007, Lee Technologies was awarded the contract to construct a newly centralized 10,000 square foot uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and emergency generator complex to enhance operational reliability at NASA's John C. Stennis Space Center located in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. This project also included the demolition of seven existing generator and UPS systems, resulting in the relocation of all functions into one new, centralized power complex with 6MW of capacity.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Classified Site
In 2007, Lee Technologies was awarded a multiphase contract with DHS. Performing as the prime commissioning agent, Lee Technologies provides technical expertise and guidance on a weekly basis for all operations, maintenance and emergency response procedures for the critical facility. The second phase includes Lee Technologies designing, deploying and integrating a state of the art equipment monitoring system as well as continual operation and maintenance support.
Department of Justice (DOJ)
The Department of Justice (DOJ) was renovating one of their major sites and awarded Lee Technologies a contract to upgrade the backup power and power distribution system. After successfully completing the initial scope, including a facility assessment and equipment installation and integration, DOJ awarded Lee Technologies an additional contract to commission a new facility based on our demonstrated mission-critical expertise. Preplanning, including methods of procedure, contingency plans, and supervision by an experienced project manager, was the key to successfully completing this project.
Major Navy Program
Serving as subcontractor to a major prime on this U.S. Navy program, Lee Technologies provided facility assessments, equipment integration, site commissioning and construction management services for multiple server farms and POP sites nationwide.
U.S. Navy
Lee Technologies designed, built and installed power quality systems to support a critical Naval center which tracks USN reserve personnel throughout the world. The project entailed a 500kVA uninterruptible power supply, precision air conditioning system, ten power distribution units, an alarm and monitoring system, and structural steel for the roof and floor of the main computer operations area. In addition, a 1250 kW generator was securely positioned on the roof due to the risk of tidal waves at the installation site. Lee was credited for keen customer awareness and delivery of quality systems and service.
Department of Education (ED)
Lee Technologies was selected to oversee the project management responsibilities for the Department of Education including site assessments, project budgeting, and design review for several major renovations. One of the projects included a Tier III facility featuring 1600 amp electrical service, a 1250 kW generator, a 5000 gallon underground fuel tank, 250 kW of uninterruptible power, static switch power distribution units, remote power distribution units, computer grade air conditioning systems, a water detection system, and a site monitoring system. Lee tested and delivered this critical facility in under 40 days.
The Pentagon
Lee Technologies' ongoing relationship with the Pentagon includes the staffing of three key data centers in the Pentagon, 24/7/365, with a 15-minute response time for the facility infrastructure supporting the most robust mission-critical data center on site. Lee Technologies' employees perform all routine maintenance including circuit installs, turbine generator maintenance and supervision of vendors working on facility equipment. During 9/11, Lee Technologies' on-site technicians remained in the data center, ensuring uptime to the Pentagon's information infrastructure, and were recognized individually for their dedication to the project.
