Lee Technologies Recognized With Statement of Support for National Guard and Reserve

FAIRFAX, VA; October 20, 2008 – Lee Technologies, a leading provider of mission-critical infrastructure solutions that enable commercial enterprises and government agencies to avoid disaster and mitigate risk to their technology facilities, today announced that the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve – a volunteer Department of Defense organization – has recognized the company for its continued support of employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve force.

Almost half of the military force resides in the National Guard and Reserve, and because those who serve are also part of the civilian workforce, the support of employers is vital to preserving national security. The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) program is dedicated to supporting the military and their employers. The “statement of support” certificate recognizes Lee Technologies as a patriotic employer for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom. In order to receive a statement of support, employers must complete the following steps:

• Fully recognize, honor and enforce the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act (USERRA).
• Managers and supervisors will be equipped with tools they need to effectively manage those employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve.
• Continually recognize and support our country’s service members and their families in peace, in crises and in war.
