David S. Gentry Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives
As Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Mr. Gentry is responsible for the development and execution of programs, products and solutions that are strategic to Lee Technologies' growth and industry position. With over 30 years of industry experience, including executive positions in sales, marketing and operations, Mr. Gentry is particularly well suited to drive corporate performance in this key area.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Gentry served eight years as Executive Vice President of Service Operations. In that capacity, Mr. Gentry managed the company's Service Group, which currently provides over 80% of the company's revenue and includes construction services, engineering, technical services, facility operations, quality systems, managed services and remote monitoring/scheduling.
In addition to working for Lee Technologies since 1991, Mr. Gentry has held positions as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Current Technology, National Sales Manager for Emerson Industrial Controls (now Liebert), and President/CEO of D.S. Gentry Associates, a mission-critical facilities equipment rep firm that was subsequently purchased by Lee Technologies.
Mr. Gentry participates in a number of philanthropic and charitable activities. In addition to membership on the board of directors for Every Orphan's Hope, he is active with Christmas in April, Eagle Ranch for Boys & Girls and Young Life.
Mr. Gentry is a graduate of the University of Georgia's Terry School of Business and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Education program on Strategic Uses of Information Technology.
